You can hire a mountain
bike on site and explore the local area. A short walk or a shuttle bus to a private
beach nearby may be for you. Invest in a mask and snorkel and explore the amazing fish and coral that lie just beneath the waters surface, you will be amazed! The water is warm and clear, just what you want!
Naama Bay, the main diving centre of the area
is from where most of the dive boats
normally depart, its just a short and cheap taxi
ride away, most dive companies provide transport
from the apartment.
Sharm el Sheikh and it's old
market is a fascinating place to visit,
again just a cheap taxi ride away, you can practice
your haggling skills. The markets and surrounding
shopping areas are a great place to buy papyrus, gold items
and alabaster ornaments,
Food wise you're spoilt! From small family run restaurants with
wonderful local specialty
food, ambience and views over the bays,
to large international restaurants and bars
are aplenty, the choice of styles and nationalities
of food is seemingly unending.
If you're feeling adventurous and diving doesn't
take your fancy, then you could go quad
biking and camel trekking into
the Sinai's deserts and mountains. Trips can be
arranged for a visit to St
Katherine's monastery, a place of pilgrimage
at the foot of Mount Sinai where, from the burning
bush, it is said, God spoke to Moses. Or, how about
a climb to the summit of Mount
Sinai itself? The mountain of the Ten Commandments,
can even be visited overnight to catch the sunrise
in the morning!
Glass bottomed sight seeing boats and
snorkelling trips go out to the local coral
reefs daily, obviously there is the wonderful
diving, this is one of the dive capitals of the
world after all!
For golfers there is even a beautifully kept, par
72 PGA golf course nearby,
or how about a little
ice skating?

National Park, Coloured Canyon, Nuweiba, Dahab, Overnight
